MEAL PAYMENT POLICY
Our mission is to insure all students receive a fresh, healthy meal daily. In order to have a successful Child Nutrition program, Prairiland ISD must have guidelines for meal payment.
Students may pay for school meals daily, prepay, or pay online. Charging is allowed. Students may charge up to $25. After this limit is reached, no a la carte or extra items may be charged.
Students will be informed daily of amount owed. Charge notices will be given out weekly to students with negative balances. Every 3 weeks, campus principals will be informed of all negative meal balances. Families will be contacted by campus administration to set a repayment schedule for meal charges.
