    Mr. Michael Sessums ...... President

      Michael Sessums is  a self-employed rancher and car salesman. He has served on the board since 1996.  His wife, Cindy, is a nurse and they have 2 sons.  Sons, Heath and Dane, both graduated from Prairiland ISD. 

            Mr. Jerrod Bankhead ..... Vice President
                    Jerrod Bankhead was elected to the board in 2003.  Jerrod is a self-employed rancher.  He has one son, Gage that attends Deport Elementary.

               Mr. David Basinger..... Secretary
  David Basinger is secretary of the board and has served as a board member since 1996.  He is employed by Brushy Creek Farms.   His wife, Connie, teaches Pre-K at the Deport campus.  They have 2 sons, Chris & Matthew both Prairiland graduates.

                    Mr. Lowell Gillie
   Lowell Gillie, a Prairiland graduate, owns and operates Gillie Insulation.  He was elected to the board in May 2009.  His wife, Michelle, teaches Reading Recovery at Blossom Elementary.  They have 2 children, a girl-Bailey that attends Prairiland High School and a boy-Bonner that attends Prairiland Jr. High.

        
           Mr. James Freelen
   James Freelen, a Prairiland graduate, works at Kimberly-Clark. He was elected to the board in May 2009.  His wife, Kelly also a graduate of Prairiland, works for Dr. Edenhoffer in Paris, TX.  They have 2 daughters, Baylee and Emalee, that attend Blossom Elementary.
           Mr. Tracey Jones       
 

      Mr. Johnny Patterson recently left the board after having served our school district as a member of the Prairiland ISD Board of Trustees for 20 years. Many of those years were spent as president of the board.
