PRAIRILAND ISD

TAX HEARING:

Prairiland ISD will have a public hearing on the 2023 Proposed TAX Rate on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the Admin building at 466 FM 196 S, Pattonville, TX 75468. Please see the Business page for a copy of the proposed tax rate.

 

BUDGET HEARING:

Prairiland ISD will have a public hearing on the 2023-2024 Proposed Budget on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the Admin building at 466 FM 196 S, Pattonville, TX 75468.  Please see the Business page for a copy of the proposed budget.


Public Notice for Applying for the ESSER Federal Grant Funding:

Prairiland ISD is making public notice for aplying for the ESSER III and ESSER II Federal grant.  This application provides funding to the district in two major categories.  One area would address the student learning loss due to COVID-19 and the second area would address the safe re-opening of the public school district.  The application also deals with other areas related to COVID-19 such as retaining employees, operational needs and teacher support.

General Specifics of the ESSER III grant are as follows:

  • Timeframe for the grant:  Pre-award costs can be recoded from March 13, 2020 and districts are allowed to spend funds until September 30, 2023. If needed, districts can carry over unused funds and be allowed to continue spending until September 30, 2024.
  • Districts will be required to follow all federal, state, and local regulations and requirements for federal grant administration and fiscal spending of funds.
  • District entitlement for the grant for the 3-year period: $1,286,518

REQUEST FOR SEALED QUALIFICATIONS/PROPOSALS

Prairiland Independent School District will receive sealed qualifications/proposals for CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT‐AT‐RISK (CMAR) Services for the PRAIRILAND ISD 2021 BOND PROGRAM utilizing the CMAR RFQ Two Step Delivery Process.

Sealed qualifications – Step 1 (prepared according to the Instruction to Proposers) will be received by Mr. Jeff Ballard, Superintendent at 466 FM 196 South, Pattonville, TX 75468 until 4:00 PM, local time, Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Any qualification received after the deadline will be returned to the sender unopened. Sealed proposals – Step 2 (prepared according to the Instruction to Proposers), offerors will be selected solely on the basis of the submitted qualifications and will be notified of time/date/place to submit sealed proposals.

Prairiland ISD offers career and technical education programs in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Food Science and Technology, Plant Science, Design and Multimedia Arts, Business Management, Health Science, Culinary Arts, Information Technology Support, Health and Wellness, Family and Community Services. Admission to these programs is based on enrollment and seat availability.
